Charity Fraud Awareness Week is led by an international partnership of over 40 charities, regulators professional representative bodies and other not-for-profit stakeholders working together to combat fraud against charities. This includes NZ Charities Services.
Health & medical issues now inspire the greatest outpouring of philanthropy in Australia – pushing social service into second place. What are the opportunities for further growth?
AskRIGHT provided professional fundraising services to Christchurch Methodist Mission. Louise Walters (Consultant) worked with CMM to create a gifts in wills strategy, which is currently being implemented. We are excited to see this new strategy help CMM offer social services to the people of the South Island.
EMOTIONAL QUOTA (EQ): IQ'S OVERLOOKED COUNTERPART | EMMA EASTWOOD
Emotional Intelligence (Emotional Quota (EQ)) is the ability to recognise and manage your own — and other people’s — emotions. EQ is integral to the professional workplace, for it contributes to the mental and physical wellbeing of individuals and the collective mentality of the team.
SOUTHERN SYMPOSIUM - CHRISTCHURCH & DUNEDIN | FINZ
The Fundraising Institute of New Zealand (FINZ) hosted a Southern Symposium in Christchurch and Dunedin recently and it provided a wonderful platform for fundraisers from a broad variety of local and national charities to come together and reconnect.  Louise Walters, AskRIGHT Consultant, was privileged to engage with participants, encouraging audience interaction, sharing, and positive feedback on the topic of the 'Art of Asking for Donations' from individuals, trusts, and corporate partnerships.

Louise is passionate about passing on her knowledge and experience in developing positive, sustainable, and respectful relationships with supporters, along with embedding the values of an organisation into their strategy and approach to raising money.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES | FOR NFP PROFESSIONALS
